Christian Dior Diorskin Forever Compact Flawless & Moist Extreme Wear Makeup SPF25 Review

I really like this powder, not really as a foundation powder but as a setting powder. I use this on top of my Dior Nude liquid, and because this has good coverage, it really does give a smooth and flawless finish for the whole day.

The shade that matched me well was 030 Medium Beige, but only because I have a tan at the moment.

I usually find the included sponges in these type of compacts useless, so I used my Everyday Minerals Powder Brush to set my foundation on with this, and it worked perfectly.

The packaging feels very luxurious, typical of Dior with their velvet pockets for all of their compacts.

YSL Mascara Singulier Nuit Blanche Exaggerated Lashes Waterproof in Vibrant Black Review

I was looking for a good waterproof mascara for my summer holiday, something that would last through the pool, waterpark, sweat etc. And I didn't want it to just last through all that water, I wanted it to give me full volumed lashes, with a curl and separation. 

So I came with this request to the YSL counter girls in Debenhams, and she was like yeah this is it! Clearly, I was full of doubt.. Then she showed me how the brush spirals on like that, so that got me curious and I just bought it!

I applied it over my Dior lash primer, and it went on like a dream. I got full, separated lashes, with a curl!!! Did it last through all the sweat, pool and huge waves at the waterpark? Yes!! I had zero smudging and my beautiful lashes even lasted through me rubbing my eyes! I was amazed, great mascara!

MAC Brow Shader Maple / Soft Charcoal Review

The MAC Brow Shader is discontinued, and I've had mine for a good few years, as you can tell from the battered packaging! I've been using this almost every single day, for a few years, and I only have a tiny dent in it, so this should last me a good while!

The shade I have it in is Maple / Soft Charcoal. The Maple is the soft highlighter which has a peachy hue to it, but I find it a little hard. And the Soft Charcoal is the brow powder itself which is a perfect light brown with no red tones. It fills in brows, for a very natural  finish, and I apply it with the Smashbox angle brush.

I tried a lot of brow products, and I find myself coming back to this every time.. It's a very old reliable, and just as well that there's so much in it, and I don't need to think about getting one on ebay or something any time soon.

Burt's Bees Radiance Lip Shimmer Review

This lip shimmer was included in the radiance sets from Burt's Bees. It is a good lip product, but I don't reach out for it very often, since I'm not a fan of the fragrance.

Pout Lip Polish in Glam Gladys Review

Pout has been discontinued a while now, but I found this lip product in my stash brand new! This particular shade of their lip polish is very bright plummy pink, and looks gorgeous on!

I think they have discontinued this lip balm, and it's such a pity, because it's lovely! It smells delicious, is very moisturising, and is long lasting.

Silk Naturals Kisser Slicker in Damsel Review

I picked this up with one of my Silk Naturals order. I haven't had much luck with mineral lip products, but thought I'd give this ago. And at only $4.50, it wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't like it.. 

The swatch they have for the Damsel shade is a very light pink, which they describe as a sheer strawberry pink. I usually go for these type of colours, and thought that it looked very pretty. 

I got this in the post and as you can see from my pictures and swatches below, their description is very inaccurate, and I was quite disappointed to receive a cherry coloured lip product.

This shade is not a very strong burgundy colour or anything, but when you expect to receive a baby pink and received a cherry colour, it's disappointing.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance in Candlelight Review

I was so impressed with the regular Too Faced Shadow Insurance, that I decided to give this a go because of the fantastic reviews for it.

This looks so beautiful on, and it actually saves time in the morning, since it's like you put on an eyeshadow on top of your primer. To me, it looks just like having Mac Ricepaper on my eyes.

Lasting power is just like the original Shadow Insurance, and for me is so much better than the UDPP. 

The colour of this illuminating primer is a soft gold with subtle sheen. I find that application of eyeshadow is smooth, and in no way interferes with the quality of the eyeshadow. I find that sometimes with other eye primers, the eyeshadow does not blend in as well or as smooth.

Essence Multi Dimension XXXL Shine Nail Polish in 71 Wanna Kiss? Review

This shade from Essence is a delicate pink, that can be built to opaque in just two coats. 

I love the colour and the finish, however the lasting power of nail polish isn't great at all, you could could two days out of it at most. The drying time between coats is really quick though, so even though it doesn't last long, at least it's fast drying when you want to re-do it. :)
